Soul Jazz has released the Future Bass compilation. This is honestly the best electronic compilation I've heard all year. The title actually does a good job in explaining what you will hear: post-dubstep, post-house, post-electronic music. The album features singles from Four Tet, Mala, Ginz, Untold, Black Chow (Kevin Martin/The Bug’s latest project), Coki and many more. This is a great catalogue of what is happening in electronic music right now, with an strong emphasis on bass. My personal favorite is Four Tet's much hyped single "Nothing To See," which is a beautifully layered 9-minute post-house masterpiece. This album should keep your speakers banging well into 2011.
